Here you can apply for a radio licence for remotely piloted aircraft or drone (UAS, RPAS). The radio systems of them include a transmitter and receiver used to control the aircraft, as well as a radio transmitter and receiver of any payload on board the aircraft (e.g. a camera). You need a radio licence to use radio equipment, unless the equipment is specifically exempted from licensing. You can identify yourself either by using your bank identifiers, chip-based identity card or mobile certificate. In order to act on behalf of a company you will also need a Suomi.fi e-Authorization. We aim to process your application within 28 days. The processing time may be extended due to frequency coordination requirements.
