In this service, you can apply a radio licence for following radio equipment with the prefix OH: VHF telephone for aviation, Emergency Radio Telephone (ERT), Dimension Measuring Equipment (DME), Radioaltimeter (RAM), Transponder (TRP), Traffic Alert Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), Doppler navigation device, Weather radar (9 GHz) and Emergency Location Transmitter (ELT). If you have other devices as well, or you would like to apply for a change of your valid radio licence via the service, select the alternative 'Radio licence for an aircraft' instead. The service requires identification before the form can be filled out. You can identify yourself either by using your bank identifiers, chip-based identity card or mobile certificate. In order to act on behalf of a company you will also need a Suomi.fi e-Authorization. The application form contains detailed instructions on how to fill out the form and on the information required in the form. The frequency fee for the first period is charged in the service immediately. In the future, an invoice will be sent annually. The typical annual frequency fee for a radio licence for an aircraft is between € 18.00 - € 37.43, depending on the types and numbers of radio transmitters (IA).
