The EU logistics industry is committed to making a seamless digital transition. The goal is for all parties in the transport chain to produce, process, and exchange data in a secure and reliable electronic environment.
The eFTI (electronic Freight Transport Information) project aims to implement a Europe-wide data standard and procedure to exchange electronic freight transport information.
eFTI4EU was launched in June 2023. In this project, a total of nine EU countries are co-developing and piloting the implementation of eFTI in practice. The aim is to ensure the operability of eFTI in the EU following its entry into force in 2027.
