Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom, acting as the National Supervisory Authority in Finland, has published on 3 July 2024 the draft Performance Plan for air navigation services for the Reference Period 4 (2025-2029).
The Performance Plan is a part of EU’s Single European Sky (SES) performance scheme, which aims to improve performance of air navigation services across Europe. Performance plan includes targets in four key areas: safety, environment, capacity and cost-efficiency.
Airspace users and stakeholders are invited to participate at a consultation meeting, to be held on 20 August in Hilton Helsinki Airport congress centre. After the consultation, the plan will be sent to the Ministry of Transport and Communications for adoption. Once adopted, the plan will be submitted to European Commission for assessment.
