Henrik Hololei

Henrik Hololei is Director-General for Mobility and Transport in the European Commission. Hololei has previously held various positions in the Estonian Government Office and was mainly responsible for coordinating the work for the Estonian accession to the EU. He was also Minister of Economy in Estonia before he moved to the European Commission as Head of Cabinet of Vice President Siim Kallas and later became Deputy Secretary General.

Marja Matinmikko-Blue

Marja Matinmikko-Blue is Research Director at the Infotech Oulu Institute and Director of Sustainability and Regulation at 6G Flagship at the University of Oulu. She conducts interdisciplinary research on future mobile communication networks from business, technology and regulatory perspectives and is active in various forums for academia and regulators. She holds a D.Sc. (Tech.) in telecommunications engineering with a thesis on cognitive radio systems and a Ph.D. in management sciences with a thesis on stakeholder analysis.

Pekka Uusitalo

Pekka Uusitalo is Director for Industry Engagement and Partnerships at CSC – IT Center for Science. His work involves developing an industrial ecosystem for the EuroHPC/Lumi programme and developing partnership activities at the Kajaani Datacenter. Lumi is the fastest supercomputer in Europe and ranked third in the world. Before joining CSC, Uusitalo spent 20+ years in various management positions in international technology companies.

Robert Dingemanse

Robert Dingemanse, founder and CEO of the Dutch company PAL-V International, started his career at Philips electronics where he was leading a number of business breakthroughs around new technologies. He was also a co-founder of Redesign Partners, an investment and management group specialised in setting up and re-designing companies in value chains disrupted by new technologies. In this capacity, Dingemanse has been CEO of companies in the field of green energy, construction, electronics and telecommunication. PAL-V International, founded in 2008, launched the first commercial flying car in the world.

Adam Woodworth is the CEO of Wing, a company specialising in drone deliveries. He has previously served as Wing’s CTO and held a range of engineering leadership roles over eight years. With over a decade of experience in the broader aviation industry, Woodworth is also a passionate model aircraft hobbyist in his spare time. He studied Aerospace Engineering at M.I.T.

Neil Trevett

Neil Trevett is Chair of the Metaverse Standards Forum. He is also Vice President of Developer Ecosystems at NVIDIA and has served for more than 20 years as President of the Khronos Group, a non-profit standards development organisation, where he has e.g. initiated the OpenGL ES standard now used by billions worldwide every day and helped catalyze the WebGL project to bring interactive 3D graphics to the Web. Trevett has been working on metaverse tech for 20 years. He is passionate about making the metaverse an open and inclusive landscape.

Philippe Crist

Philippe Crist coordinates innovation and foresight activities for the International Transport Forum (ITF) at the OECD and leads various research and innovation projects at ITF. Crist also carries out research and has been the principal author or co-author for many of the ITF's recent reports on innovation and transport policy, focusing on e.g. the use of mobility data, automated vehicles, transport safety and innovative mobility, including Mobility as a Service (MaaS). At the core of his work is the conviction that policies must serve people in their day-to-day lives and that technology only helps when it helps all, not just a few.

Kirsi Karlamaa

Kirsi Karlamaa, Director-General at Traficom, is a visionary in transport and communications. She has been building a digital society with human-centred services in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Transport and Communications for over twenty years. Karlamaa has expertise in the strategic development of mobile and space technology, cyber security and transport – all vital when creating smooth, safe and environmentally friendly solutions that enable the movement of people, data and goods. Karlamaa is also excited about innovations in autonomous transport and data as a tool for promoting wellbeing, competitiveness and safety. Karlamaa has been Director-General at Traficom since the beginning of 2019. Prior to that, she has held various positions at the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA), including Director-General, Director of Spectrum Management and Director of the National Cyber Security Centre Finland.
