Taking environmental, social and financial responsibility requires concrete actions. The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom’s sustainability report details the varied and effective work that we carry out here at Traficom for the benefit of Finnish people in collaboration with our stakeholders.
Our goal is to ensure the operational reliability, security and sustainable development of transport and communications. Our operations rely on responsibility, trust and interaction.
In the sustainability report, we highlight the importance of specialists in sustainability work. Thoughts on sustainability are shared not only by Traficom employees, but representatives of our stakeholders as well.
Our joint sustainability reporting framework is based on the State Treasury’s instructions and the UN Agenda 2030 action plan and its sustainable development goals. The sustainable development goals that Traficom has chosen to report on are goals 3, 9, 11 and 13, which are related to safety in transport and communications, sustainable infrastructure, sustainable cities and climate actions.
