Sustainability means being responsible for the environment, the people and the economy. The State Treasury recommends that all central government organisations draft a sustainability report each year. The joint sustainability reporting framework is based on the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Traficom has selected three goals most closely related to its core tasks for its own reporting (SDGs 3, 11 and 13). The positive impact of Traficom’s operations on the three selected goals is called the handprint.

UN target 11. Sustainable cities

Target 11.2 By 2030, provide access to safe, affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all, improving road safety, notably by expanding public transport, with special attention to the needs of those in vulnerable situations, women, children, persons with disabilities and older persons.

Traficom's Sustainability report

Our experts have actively participated in the selection of the content and processing of the third sustainability report. We also asked our stakeholder groups, for their thoughts on sustainability.

Traficom’s footprint

Sustainability also means taking action to reduce our footprint. Footprint refers to the negative ecological, social and economic effects of Traficom’s activities in our operating environment.
