The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom's organisational structure is reformed starting on 1 October 2024 to consist of eight sectors and five impact networks. The aim is for the new organisational structure to be as clear as possible, both in terms of substance and management. This will ensure the effective execution of the tasks assigned to the agency and better service to customers.
“We take into account the perspective of customers and stakeholders in building a new organisation. We sought clarity in organisational structures and leadership roles, without compromising on cooperation. This will enable us to better serve our customers and improve the efficiency of our operations as an advocate for functional and safe transport and communications connections and services, as well as cyber security. As part of our ongoing strategy work, we will continue to discuss with our stakeholders the direction we want to take together in our changing operating environment," says Traficom's Director-General Jarkko Saarimäki.
