Taxi driver’s examinations to be held as group exams centralised in 12 locations
Traficom is reforming the organisation of taxi driver’s examinations. From 17 November 2025, the examinations will be conducted as group exams in 12 locations across Finland. The reform aims to improve the reliability, security and efficiency of the examinations.
Annual fees for transport licence holders and service providers invoiced in February 2025
Transport licence holders and those notified as service providers are charged an annual fee. If an operator no longer provides transport services, it is advisable to cancel the transport licence or notification. The annual fee is charged to all licence holders and service providers entered in the Transport Register on 1 January 2025.

A wide Finnish network of research institutes, public administration, companies and foundations was successful in the funding application of the climate projects in the EU LIFE programme. The ACE project will start from the beginning of 2024 with a budget of 20 million euros. The funding supports the implementation of domestic sustainable investments and aims to increase them.
