Process for obstacle to air navigation permissions to change on 1 September – preliminary assessment required
, updated at 14:46Amendments to the Aviation Act will enter into force on 1 September 2025, also affecting the permission process for obstacles to air navigation. The related provisions have been amended to address challenges in the application of the Act. The aim of the amendments is to improve aviation safety.
A new three-year tender for the procurement of air transport for the Helsinki–Savonlinna route has begun
The City of Savonlinna and the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom have launched a call for tenders for the procurement of scheduled air services between Helsinki and Savonlinna for the period 19 January 2026–15 December 2028.
BASe Airlines Ltd won the air services tender for Pori–Helsinki route
, updated at 15:46Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom and the city of Pori have reached a decision in the tender for scheduled air services between the airports of Helsinki and Pori. BASe Airlines Ltd won the tender for the route. Flights are set to begin 01 January 2025.
