Programming licences for radio broadcasting
Here you can see who holds a valid radio programming licence for analogue radio broadcasting. Traficom grants programming licences and processes applications to amend them. Licences are granted during application rounds. If there are more applicants than available frequencies in a certain location, the matter is referred to the Government for decision.
Both the programming licences granted by Traficom and those granted by the Government are valid until 31 December 2029.
The exception is frequency package 26, whose licence is valid until 31 December 2032.
Programming licences are available only in Finnish.
