PDF files

  • Tags: PDF files do not contain any tags, which means they cannot be read using, for example, a screen reader, and their reading order has not been defined. As a result, logos do not have text alternatives, and links cannot be activated using the keyboard alone. (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 2.1.1)
  • Title: No document title has been defined in the document properties. (WCAG 2.4.2)
  • Language specifications: The main language of the documents has not been determined. In licences, the language of texts differing from the main language has also not been determined. (WCAG 3.1.1, 3.1.2)
  • Distinguishing links: Links are not differentiated from the body text in any way, which makes them difficult for all users to perceive. (WCAG 3.2.4)
