Apply for international occational passenger transport permits
Traficom issues international passenger transport permits for road transport. The permits needed for each transport depend on the destination and the type of the transport operation. If you are carrying out passenger transport in the area of EU, EEA or Switzerland or outside of said area, you will need to have a journey form. EU books of journey forms are available for transport directed to EU, EEA and Switzerland areas, and Interbus books of journey forms for transport to Interbus agreement countries. In addition there are specific permits to Russia and Ukraine for occasional passenger traffic.

Assemble the necessary appendicies
You don't need any attachments to apply for international transport permits for occasional pasenger traffic. Traficom checks the information on the applicant's transport license from the transport license register.

Apply for the transport permits and the book of journey forms
Fill in the application and send it to kirjaamo@traficom.fi or mail it to Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto, PL 320, 00059 TRAFICOM.
International transport permits are issued approximately within a week from filing the application.

4. Delivery of the permits
The permits will be delivered to you either via mail or to be picked up from Traficom's offices depending on the delivery method you chose in the application. International transport permits are issued in two different locations: in Helsinki and in Lappeenranta.
