The daily fee system for tractors
Using a tractor that is powered by, for example, fuel oil, liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas in a task subject to the fuel fee requires payment of the fuel fee. The daily fee is to be paid before starting any driving subject to the fuel fee.
You can pay the fuel fee as a daily fee for registered tractors and road-rated tractors.
The daily fee cannot be paid for mobile machinery or a load-carrying tractor equipped with hydraulic articulated steering.
How to pay the daily fee for tractors
- Step 1
Log in to your online bank
You can pay the daily fee for a tractor to the following Traficom accounts:
- Danske Bank: FI27 8129 9710 0118 26, BIC DABAFIHH
- Nordea: FI21 1804 3000 0153 13, BIC NDEAFIHH
Payee name
You can use any of the following as the name of the payee:
- Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom / Transport- och kommunikationsverket Traficom
- Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto / Transport- och kommunikationsverket
- Traficom
If you use a different name, your bank may notify you that the name does not match the account holder’s name.
Traficom's bank account will change on 1 December 2026
Traficom will start using an OP bank account for payments of the daily fee for tractors on 1 December 2026. The Danske Bank account will remain available until 31 May 2027. The Nordea account will remain unchanged.

Pay daily fee for a tractor
The daily fee for tractors is EUR 5 per day per tractor. You can pay for the fee for several days at once.
Enter the following information in the payment message field:
- the tractor's registration number
- the days of use.

Be prepared to present proof of the payment to the supervisory authority
If you pay the daily fee in advance, you do not need to submit a separate notification to Traficom about using a fuel that requires the payment of the fuel fee. The payment is sufficient notification.
