Order vehicle tax as an e-invoice

Order your vehicle tax as an e-invoice in the My e-Services service. Your vehicle tax bills will then be delivered to your online bank as e-invoices.

When can you order vehicle tax as an e-invoice?

You can activate an e-invoice for your vehicle tax if you

  • are liable for vehicle tax
  • use online banking
  • authenticate yourself in Traficom's My e-Services.

Once you activate the e-invoice service, all vehicle tax bills for the liable taxpayer's vehicles will be delivered as e-invoices to your selected online bank. Before placing your order, make sure the taxpayer's details are correct.

How to order vehicle tax as an e-invoice

  1. Step 1

    Log in to My e-Services

    After identification, select your service role: personal services, acting on behalf of another person or acting on behalf of a company/an organisation.
     

  2. Step 2

    Order vehicle tax as an e-invoice

    On the home page, select Vehicle Taxation and then Order vehicle tax as an e-invoice under Services.

  3. Step 3

    Select your bank

    Choose the bank to which you want the e-invoice proposal to be sent.

    The proposal will be delivered to your online bank within a few days.

  4. Step 4

    Accept the e-invoice proposal in your online bank

    Accept the e-invoice proposal sent to your online bank.

    Once you have accepted the proposal, the e-invoice service will be activated.

    If you do not accept the proposal within 30 days, it will be automatically removed from your online bank.

    Information about your active e-invoice agreement will appear on the Vehicle Taxation page in My e-Services a few days after you have accepted the proposal.

Frequently asked questions about vehicle tax e-invoices

Yes. You can also create an e-invoice agreement in your online bank. To order an e-invoice, you need your vehicle tax customer ID. You can find it on your vehicle tax bill or under My details in My e-Services.

Then sign in to your online bank and activate the e-invoice agreement by following your bank's instructions.

Once you have accepted the e-invoice proposal in your online bank, the e-invoice service will be activated. Vehicle tax bills generated after this will be delivered to your online bank as e-invoices.

 

Your active e-invoice agreement will appear on the Vehicle Taxation page in My e-Services a few days after you have accepted the e-invoice proposal in your online bank.

You can cancel your e-invoice agreement in your online bank. Please note that the cancellation applies to all vehicle tax e-invoices. You cannot cancel the e-invoice for only one vehicle.

You can change the vehicle tax instalment amount in your online bank. The e-invoice includes the vehicle tax bill sent by Traficom as an attachment. Check the amount of the instalment you want to pay and edit the payment amount accordingly.
