  Check that you meet the requirements. The requirements are listed in Section 79 of the Emissions Trading Act 1270/2023 and in Regulation (EU) 2023/957 of the European Parliament and the Council.

  Fill in the form

  Fill in the form and print it for signing if the digital signing is not applicable. 

  For filling out the form, you shall need the contact details, billing address, and public contact details to be published on Traficom's webpages.

  Attachments of the application

  You need to attach a copy of the accreditation decision of the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency's accreditation unit with its attachments or a certification.

  If it is a verifier accredited or certified in another country belonging to the European Economic Area, the accreditation decision or certification issued by this country's accreditation unit must state that the applicant meets the requirements for maritime transport verifiers, which are listed in Section 79 of the Emissions Trading Act 1270/2023.

  Send the application

  Scan the signed application and send it with a copy of the accreditation decision to kirjaamo@traficom.fi and ETS-maritime@traficom.fi.

  Traficom sends the decision on the verifier's approval to the contact person's email address indicated in the applicant's application.
