View your driving licence, permit and professional qualification details and order related extracts
You can use My e-Services to view your own driving licence, permit and professional qualification details and to print a driving licence extract or a professional qualification extract for your use.
The driving licence extract is an official printout from the register of transport affairs. It shows your right to drive, your licence categories and their validity. If you need a driving licence extract as a certificate, for example for education, employment or obtaining a foreign driving licence, check in advance whether a printout from the service is accepted.
In Finland, a driving licence extract printed from the service is as valid as a driving licence extract certified by Traficom. If you need a driving licence extract certified by Traficom, for example for purposes involving foreign authorities, read more about ordering an extract in the section Ordering a certified driving licence extract.
The driving licence extract and the professional qualification extract are available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Log in to the service
If you need a driving licence extract, go to the Driving licences section.
If you need a professional qualification extract, go to the Road traffic professional qualifications section.

View your information on the driving licence extract and/or professional qualification extract
The driving licence extract contains information on:
- your latest right to drive and your driving licence
- valid permits issued to you (e.g., driving instruction permit or age exception permit)
- measures related to your right to drive and any traffic violations.
The professional qualification extract contains information on:
- your professional qualifications for a lorry and bus
- your driver card
- your ADR driver training certificate
- your taxi driving licence.

Download or print out the driving licence extract or professional qualification extract
If you wish, you can download and print out the driving licence extract or professional qualification record for yourself or submit the printout as a certificate for education, work or other purposes.
Ordering a certified driving licence extract
The content of a driving licence extract printed from My e-Services is the same as that of a certified driving licence extract. In most situations, it is sufficient to print out the extract yourself. Check with the recipient in advance whether a driving licence extract printed from the service is accepted.
Order a certified driving licence extract if the recipient requires an extract that is stamped and signed, or if you are unable to use My e-Services.
Do the following:
Complete, print out and sign the driving licence extract order form. A handwritten signature is required.
Send the form as a secure email to ajokorttiotetilaukset(at)traficom.fi.
If you do not wish to send the form by secure email, you may send it by post to:

FI-00059 Traficom- We will process the order within approximately seven business days of receipt.
- You will receive the driving licence extract by post once the order has been processed.
- The invoice will be sent separately after the delivery of the driving licence extract.
The price of a certified driving licence extract is EUR 15.
Ordering a professional qualification extract
The professional qualification extract that you can print out from the service is identical to the one you can order. The easiest way to obtain a professional qualification extract is to log into the e-service and print it out.
If you wish, you can also order the extract from Traficom.
Send your order vie email to Traficom. There are no specific requirements for the form of the order but please include the following information in your message:
- In the subject line of your message, indicate the purpose of your request: Request to Access Own Data / Professional Qualification extracts
- your full name, personal identity code and address
- whether you wish to receive the professional qualification extract by email or by post to your home address.
