Updated Chart folio B provides more detailed information for waters between Helsinki and Parainen
The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom has published an updated edition of Chart folio B, covering the coastal area between Helsinki and Parainen. The chart folio contains more detailed hydrographic survey data and has also been updated to reflect changes to fairways and aids to navigation, cables, rock observations and marina information.

EU derogation supports progress of Digirail and strengthens Finland’s pioneering role in rail digitalisation
The European Commission has granted Finland a derogation that allows commercial mobile networks to be used in implementing a new communications solution for railway transport. The derogation will remain valid until 31 December 2035 and supports the progress of the Digirail project towards the digital rail transport of the future.
